Personal Statement: Pursuing A Career At ITT

I am pursuing a career at ITT with the hopes to better my life and situation. I want a career for myself instead of a dead end job. I want something that I can enjoy waking up for every day. It would be nice to wake up and want to go to work instead of dreading what you do. I want a fresh start in life. It’s never too late to pursue your dreams. No matter what I am determined to graduate and obtain a degree in a field of opportunities. I have been stuck in the same position for 11 years with no progress. I want to be able to climb the corporate ladder and build a name for myself. Being able to grow with a major company will be a big accomplishment for me. My goals are beyond what the eyes can see. I will never limit myself to just one thing. I feel like ITT will put me in the right path to get my life on track as far as my career. Everyone wants to do better than what their parents have set forth for them to do. My parents are already proud of me and the things I have done with my life. I feel like I can so much more if I just put my mind to it. I have been in

I want to be able to help my mother out if she needs it. She has done so much for me and still does. It’s my duty to make sure she’s okay and be able to kick her feet up and live life. My mother has always put us first and when I get this degree, I am going to make sure to thank her. This degree will put me in a better financial position to pay bills and hopefully live comfortably. I have always been the type of person eager to learn new things. I can’t grow as a person if I do not have my education. Education has always been my first priority. I have been on a hiatus from school the past couple of years because I was unsure and unhappy with my career that I am in now. Now that I am focused and more determined than ever, I promise to never take another break
