Your Personal Balanced Scorecard Personal balanced scorecard gives you a road map in order to achieve any personal or professional goals. Which is broken down into four categories: learning and growth, internal, customer, and financial. Learning and growth both deal with self-development with education and experience. Learning is the backbone in the developing your future career path. It all starts with the right college that facilitates the area you want to concentrate on. Following the degree you choose to achieve to better accommodate your future career. For example I am taking business classes because I plant on working in the business field. The physical portion is important also, but being mentally strong will get you pass the physical portion. There has been numerous times while in the Marine Corps when I felt I could not go anymore, but I was mentally prepared for what I had to do and it got me passed the physical. I also try and keep myself in a good physical state at all times. I regularly go to the gym or do some type of physical activity. When I miss a few days of any physical activity, I can automatically feel my body feeling sluggish and sleepy. I am a morning person and to start my day I prefer to go to the gym early in the morning. This kicks starts my metabolism and gets my day going, it’s like my cup of …show more content…

It is the main reason why I am attending school at this age in my life. Equally I like to be financial independent. I was raised very poor and my family struggled financial. Now that I have my own family it is priority to me. It is paramount that I am successful in order to give my son and wife financial stability. At the age of 18 when everyone else was leaving to college, I decided to join the Marine Corps to help pay for my education. The last thing I wanted to do was be in debt before even getting a good job. Now I am taking full advantage of the education benefits that I have. This is also why I started at a community college. While on active duty I was able to save money to be in a good financial state while attending school. At the same time I am looking for a pat time job that will allow me to continue my education without delaying
