Going into high school some you will probably have a basic idea of what you want to do with their life after you graduate. But throughout high school your idea of the career you want may change due to new experiences, opportunities and the influences of others. Or reflecting on how you performed in high school you may second guess your college plans. Then when It’s time to walk the stage and get your diploma, you’re not one hundred percent sure what you want to do. A lot of people say students should go straight from high school into college to because all the information is still fresh in their brain. Which is fine but, It would probably be better if you took a year off from school to find theirself.
After 13 long years of school it would be best to take a little breather for a bit. School can be very stressful with getting up every morning at a ridiculous time, annoying peers that make you want to jump out the window, tests that you forgot to study for and a whole lot of unnecessary homework that makes you want to buy a dog, but we all have to go through it for 13 years of our life. Life skills that can’t be taught in a classroom. These experiences will make you more prepared for college both academically and socially.
