Over the past few weeks my class has been studying space exploration. We have read lots of persuasive articles about different opinions. After learning each opinion I have decided that space exploration is not a waste of money. My reasons are: space exploration actually helps the economy. Our population is increasing fast so we may need to leave Earth one day. In the future we may be able to colonize the moon, Mars, or another orbiting space colony near the moon. Finally, we do spend the money put towards space exploration down here on Earth.
