Driving is essential for transportation for many people, as the use of cellphones are for communication. Although combining the use of cellphones and driving creates an accident that is bound to happen, many teens are ignoring how dangerous the use of cellphones can be while driving and how the use is becoming a problem. For many teens it is distracting their minds from focusing on the road. As teenage beginning drivers are given the privilege to be behind the wheel, driving comes with big responsibilities of learning the rules of the road. Focusing on the road and an electronic device is causing a distraction and a danger for the teens themselves and the public. As teenagers, the addiction of social media becomes more of a necessity, as new information flurries out through blogs or text messages every second. Not only are they able to keep up with celebrities or their favorite team and friends but they are able to keep people in the loop with what they are doing. Based off my observations, many of my peers still blog while driving or at a stop light.
