Studies have shown half of the products tested on these animals do not have the same outcome when a human tries it out. As laboratories test on these animals if not affected they do not disturb them out to the public. The animals die due to the fact they injected them with a virus or an infection and can not find the cure for it. Sometimes these injections are too strong for the animals to take and die with in seconds after the shot. Third, animal testing is very expensive.
We shouldn’t test products on animals because it’s cruel, it can affect the environment, and affects humans. Did you know that every year over a hundred million animals of all kinds are killed? We shouldn’t test on animals because it’s cruel. Animals are being shocked, poisoned, isolated, starved, drowned, and addicted to drugs and much more without painkillers.
Animal rights are violated when they are being poisoned and poked while being tested on by scientists, all for the safety of cosmetics, even if it requires the loss of several animals losses. Since animals have similar, if not exact, responses and characteristics to humans, causing pain and suffering to animals is parallel to causing pain to humans. Because of this correlation, animal testers are accused of dehumanization, according to the BBC. When animals are used for the benefit of humans, their right to decent treatment is violated. Animals have the right always to be given dignity and respect, just as people are given dignity and respect.
Every year, more than 10 million animals are being used and killed in biology, cosmetic medical, and drug testing. Many of those animals' range from mice, rats, frogs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, monkeys, fish, and birds. It a matter of time where all animals will conducted to testing and not able to live a domestic free life. When I would watch those videos posted by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) on Twitter, they would post videos of sick animals, drugged, weak, and tell us that what’s happening to them is that they were tested on. Not only watching those videos I would cry at how sad and cruel this world can be, but also I would feel the need to show other what is happening so they understand too.
If scientists want animals so badly for tests, why not the animals that these tests were designed for? If the products are intended for human use, than other animals shouldn’t suffer for being innocent. Clearly, animal experimentation is immoral, unnecessary, and animals have rights too, so they shouldn’t be tested on and they most definitely shouldn't have to go through agonizing inhumane procedures that will scar them for
First of all, it causes harm to innocent animals. “Each year more than 100 million animals such as rats, frogs, dogs, cats etc. Are killed every year in the U.S and the U.K for biology reasons. Animals are specially bred to be a test subject. A lot of animals die every year to make sure that our products
Should They Suffer For Our Survival imagine life inside a cage. About to be injected with unknown chemicals. Suddenly, a hand presses you against a cold, hard table, preventing you from moving as the needle inches closer and closer. This is the fate of thousands of animals every day. Animal testing is done to evaluate the effectiveness of new medicines and products.
Imagine a cute, fluffy, rabbit about to be used in a medical research project to determine if a new chemical is poisonous or hazardous to living creatures. Many people are opposed to companies that perform experiments on animals, because they believe it is animal abuse. Many companies worldwide use animals for beauty products, medical research, and science experiments. These poor animals that are used for experiments live for years. Everyday of their life these animals are poisoned with toxic chemicals, they are tortured their whole life.
Today, there are over thousands of chemicals and diseases spread across the world and we don’t know much of its effect. Scientists have spent years on analyzing its effects on animals. Nearly over 100 million of innocent animals die due to the researchers who implement these tests that don’t even help the human race at the end of the day. They use animals such as dogs, and cats and other animal species, they are usually restrained, poisoned, and genetically manipulated. It is more acceptable to have animals served as test subjects opposed to conducting such tests on humans for many obvious reasons.
Moreover, experiments on animals cannot fully predict the human response to some kind of drugs or products. Animal experiments are cruel to animals no matter how they are done. Their rights are violated when they are used in a research because they are not given a choice. Animal testing can be painful and it can cause permanent damage or death. A big number of animals die in lethal doses tests every year in the united states.
26 million animals are killed each year by animal testing. It is dangerous for the animals and it can make animals extinct. If you test animals it also could put you in danger they were to go crazy after you put something in them and it were to affect them badly, then it might kill you or them. If it is meant to help the animal, and nothing bad happens to the human then they can put it in the animal. this need to stop animals don 't have a voice they can 't say stop that hurts they can 't say what wrong with them.
Since animal testing is cruel, inhumane, and alternative testing methods now exist, we should discontinue animal testing once and for all. For these reasons, animals should not be used in research or to test the safety of human products. To begin with, animal testing is cruel, inhumane and it violates animals’ rights. The USDA reported that in 2016, 71,370 animals suffered pain during experiments while being given no anesthesia at all for relief.
Imagine an enraged animal rights activist charging toward a scientist in a white lab coat, desperate to free the little mice that are being used as test subjects. Although comical, this scene may be quite accurate when describing the passion that animal lovers have when it comes to the touchy subject of animal testing. For centuries, animal testing has been used in the medical research field, however many are now beginning to question whether it is ethical. Millions of animals are killed per year due to animal testing, so is this practice worth banning? Animal testing is a controversial subject, with supporters pointing out the medical advances that have stemmed from animal research and animal rights activists declaring it cruel and immoral.
“No matter whether it’s someone from the political left or right, we just need a voice to stand up and defend animal rights” a quote from Brigitte Bardot on animal experimentation. Animal experimentation has been going on for over 300 years and this is just what has been recorded in records. There are many types of test performed on animals:Draize Test: A laboratory test in which a cosmetic or drug is dropped into a rabbit 's eyes, which are held open with clips, to determine the level of irritation. Named after John Henry Draize, a twentieth century pharmacologist with the United States Food and Drug Administration.
Animal testing is cruel and inhumane. Animal rights are violated when they are used in researches. They have a basic moral right to respectful treatment (Regan, 1985). Some scientist uses animals without any permission to the animal welfare. Animals are not humans so people should not use them for scientific testing to make products that are not safe.
