Refugees are like us. We are all human beings except they are the ones scouting for new places to settle while going through harsh conditions to get to another country. Moving from one country to the next is no simple walk in the park. Just by looking at a refugee will not allow someone to understand what they have gone through. The refugees are looking out to new places to settle because of being forced out of their country. So instead of shutting them out, why not welcome them in? A country or state with additional land should link with an organization to build safe zones. First, with the amount of empty land that the United States has., the U.S. should be able to build refugee camps for refugees. Not only would the U.S. benefit from this by possibly giving them jobs within the country, but the refugees may be able to benefit from this too. take a look at the Syrian refugee crisis and the United States (U.S.), for example. The U.S. is taking in around 10,000 Syrian Refugees into their land according to Ashely Fantz And Ben Brumfield. With this, out of the 4,000,000 refugees that fled from their country possibly due to violence, 10,000 refugees may be able to stay in a better environment. Remember that countries as successful as the U.S. financially has taken in over 10,000 refugees while a country that is not as successful like Jordan took in around 600,000 refugees which is about 60 times as much as the U.S. accepted.
