A refugee is defined as “a person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster.” Syrian refugees dangerously attempt to flee their ravaged homes in desperate attempts to find safety and protect their lives and the lives of their families and loved ones so they may be able to begin a new start, safe from the wasteland they called home. The terrorist actions from the extremist group ISIS has deprived the millions of innocent citizens of food, shelter, care, and education. These innocent civilians have been unfortunately caught in the midst of the terrible actions from the terrorist group. They are left to suffer the consequences and have become homeless refugees. They need help, aid, and assistance before every single Syrian in the world will die. They are being forced to flee to a civil war they can’t control. They are leaving everything behind with nothing to look forward to and still take the risk to flee their country in desperate hopes to survive. They hope to find safe haven in America and to begin fresh lives away from their obliterated nation. They force upon themselves the almost impossible trek to find protection for their families and loved ones and are being denied the right to live in countless countries. Politicians fear terrorist might slip in yet they are ignorant to the thousands of innocent human beings that die each day the U.S hesitates to take action. Due to its actions in the crisis and its decisions in the past events similar to the Syrian refugee crisis, the U.S has to to accept the faultless refugees. The U.S government has allowed an extremely small portion of the towering 9 million refugees fleeing the country. They are hesitant to take action due to the ignorant politicians who are denying innocent men, women, and children the right to live. The Syrian children who are forced to flee are just like the children in America, however they have been denied the right to live. Syrian refugees are innocent human beings just like us and deserve to be rescued by the U.S government which needs to allow them into its nation and execute the humanitarian rescue before the innocent men, women, and children who are being forced to flee their home country completely die out and cease to
