Ninety-two percent of drugs used during animal tests fail immediately when tried first on humans from being both useless and or dangerous. Most of the new medicines get declared as unsafe and dangerous for humans to use to treat illnesses and diseases. In fact, 92% of drugs used during animal tests fail immediately when tried first on humans from being both useless and or dangerous. This means that plenty of animals used for research go through pain and suffering for no reason since it almost always never is able to be used. There should be no medical testing on animals because there is no guarantee that the new medications, treatments for illnesses, and treatments for diseases will be able to be used on humans without them being tortured for no reason.
First, the purpose of testing on animals is invalid. According to “Should We Experiment On Animals”, animal research doesn’t always work. For example, a sleeping pill made in the 1950’s, called thalidomide, which was clinically tested, caused 10,000 babies to be born with major deformities.
