Making marijuana illegal will not stop any individual from using it, so let’s legalize it and tax it. Lots of people have hesitation about legalizing recreational marijuana, because the bad things being brain damage, addictiveness, and even a gateway drug to many other more serious and harmful drugs. Those may be the bad things of marijuana, but it also has its goods. Legalizing recreational marijuana can help the economy a lot and will support American freedom. These are the things that individuals don’t see when voting on a youthful concept. Cigarettes and alcohol both come with cautions of harmful ingredients you could possibly intake. If recreational marijuana were to become legal, it should also list all of its ingredients, just as any other legal potentially harmful drug. The Government should legalize recreational marijuana. By taking away the consumption of marijuana, the government is taking away individual freedom, which is said in our first amendment. Even if marijuana is said to have dangerous effects, we should have the right to choose what we put in our bodies. The government has the right to stop people's doings if what they are doing causes a threat to the person. Although the government has that right, it doesn't necessarily relate to marijuana due to the fact that marijuana is a lot less dangerous than some drugs that are legal.
