Torture is when pain and fear are pumped into a person for the purposes of extracting information from the said person. However, keep in mind the before any torture is done, the person is always given the option to speak out for themselves. When you have guys literally chopping heads off publicly down the block, then that’s when using torture shouldn’t be a problem. When you have the rape statistic off the charts in your country than that when you start using torture. Perhaps, I’ve never understood why people have a problem with waterboarding a few bad buys to save hundreds. But of course, we must protect these people because apparently they haven’t been secluded from their rights when they act like beasts in a jungle. Torture has backgrounds which reach far as the medieval era. However, as the modern world becomes more advanced so does torture interrogation techniques and the purpose of why is used and how is used by the public. Governments organizations such as the U.N has adapted the idea the torture is inhumane. Well, as you know, the U.N is the U.N, wants to look good behind closed doors and publicly.
