I am well qualified and very interested in being District 11 Director. I will be a successful District Director because I am a highly motivated Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional Engineer (PE) with 28 years of progressive experience and accomplishments. I am a team motivator with excellent people skills and an effective leader who creates a results-oriented team environment.

1) I have broad and comprehensive knowledge of the department’s programs and vast experience that demonstrates my ability to manage a large and complex statewide program. I also continuously monitored the timely scheduling of C3D training and the effective deployment of equipment to meet our customers' needs within budgeted resources. I led statewide CTAC quarterly meetings and coordinated with HQs CADD and IT to update on the districts' on training and equipment deployment efforts, challenges, and successes. Furthermore, I have effectively participated in the design through construction statewide committee to establish performance measures to improve projects' quality. The Department 2015-2020 strategic management plan has set aggressive yet attainable strategic objectives, performance measures, baselines and targets for each of its goals to measure the department’s progress in achieving its strategic objectives, goals, and mission. These objectives will guide activi¬ties in each district, program, and division to accomplish these goals. The Department’s Organizational Excellence goal is to be a national leader in delivering quality service through excellent employee perfor¬mance, public communication, and accountability. A world-class transportation system requires a world-class staff to plan, design, build, maintain, operate, and manage it. Significant achievements can, and will, be accomplished with a capable, educated, well-trained, and motivated workforce equipped with the right tools and resources.
