Abortion is defined by Webster’s dictionary as the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. The US Supreme Court has declared abortion to be a "fundamental right" guaranteed by the US Constitution ("Abortion: pros and cons," 2014). Pro-choice abortionists believe that choosing abortion is a right that should not be limited by governmental or religious authority, and which outweighs any right claimed for an embryo or fetus. Pro-Choice abortionists say that we don’t know when life begins because Even though biological life begins at conception, we don’t know when personhood begins ("Pro-life vs pro-choice," 2014). To keep it less personable people who are pro-choice say that a fetus and or an unborn baby is nothing more than a blob.
