Have you ever heard of the topic about medical testing on animals? If so and you are interested in learning more, you came to the right place. My claim is that medical testing on animals does more harm than good. My first main point is medical testing on animals causes harm to the animal. My second main point is medical testing on animals can kill the animal. My third and final main point is that it's inhuman and inaccurate. However there is another side to this and that is that medical testing on animals does more good than harm. Medical testing on animals causes harm to the animal. Furthermore, what happens to the animals can range from uncomfortable to deadly, and the animals can't defend themselves. The animals that are being tested on live stressful and unnatural lives of confinement and deprivation. The only changes that happen to their lives are from being called into a research or testing protocol. The research or testing protocol done to them may include an invasive experiment, or a procedure which may result in death. Each year, more than 100 million animals- including mice, rats, frogs, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, monkeys, fish and birds are killed in U.S. laboratories. Before these animals die, some are forced to inhale toxic fumes, others are immobilized in restraints for hours, some have holes drilled into their skulls, and some have their skin burned off or their spinal cords crushed. On top of this pain from the actual experiments, animals in laboratories are taken from everything that is natural to them. They are confined in cages, isolated, and psychologically traumatized.
