I believe that you have to be bold to have power. In the story a black man was accused of raping a white girl, and was put on trial. Because of her class and gender, Mayella lacks knowledge about racism. Now, with her social class being very low she lacks power. She lacks power in her class, because they were unclean people and were looked down on by other people in the town.
Feeding the birds is a very bad idea because it makes the birds rely on the food from bird feeders that seems to feed the whole bird family but can be taken away at any moment. In the passage, "Stop Feeding Wild Birds" it says, "Wild birds can become dependent on the handouts. When this happens, their behaviors change. " This is a key statement
The Animal Welfare Act of 1966, was signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson, and it’s the only Federal law in the United States that regulated treatment and care of animals in research. Animals like rats, mice, birds and other cold-blooded animals are excluded from this law. Dogs, cats, guinea pig, and warm-blooded animals are well protected under this law. Question is why, are the laboratory experiment animals are not protected and treated well. Should we continue experimenting new drug on these animals and make our life easy on their pain or should we for better meant for our society practice and observe new drug on these animals.
Should animals be used for entertainment ? Some people think world would be more safer without animals because they think animals mean to hurt use and that’s why some people agree to get rid of animals. This controversy was discussed in an video “Mox News” the people think animals increase the deaths of lives. For example an whale trainer was killed by an killer whale and this isn’t the first time this whale killed a whale trainer so the trainer went to the killer whale to calm he or she down when a man hopped out of the whale’s tank and got away that’s when the whale killed the trainer. That’s why some people agree to get rid of animals.
Imagine how you would feel if you were taken from your family and your home, moved to a completely new climate, and forced into a small enclosure with no room to run, and nothing to do other than walk in circles as people stare, laugh and take pictures of you. You would never be free again, and you would die surrounded by concrete walls, lonely and sad. This is what zoos are doing to thousands of animals around the world, locking them up into captivity and using them for our entertainment, and it needs to end. I think zoos need to be banned, and that it should be illegal to take wild animals into captivity. The first issue that I have with zoos is the fact that these animals are kept very far away from their natural climate and habitat.
Did you know that an estimate 26 millions animals are tested every year in the United States for scientific and commercial uses?. The Animal Welfare Act (AWA) does not protect 95% of the testings that are done and doesn’t prevent cases of animal abuse from happening. Most tests are useless and take lives of the animals. Most importantly, these animals are like humans and can suffer like humans do even though that is the main reason we refrain from testing on humans. While the Animal Welfare Act is a law that was signed by President Lyndon B. Johnson on the 24 of August in 1966.

According to the movie Cowspiracy, animal agriculture is responsible for 18% of greenhouse gas emission, 32 million tons of carbon dioxide, consumes 34-76 trillion gallons of water annually, and occupies ⅓ of the earth’s ice-free land. So, how do we fix this? First we have to decide if it is even possible to fix the growing issues caused by animal agriculture. Animal agriculture is the leading cause for rainforest destruction, destroying one to two acres of rainforests every second. Meats such as fish and other seafoods are just as damaging.
Animal captivity is one of the biggest controversial arguments of today. Many people are against it and people do not see a real problem with animal captivity. This argument has been going on for decades. There are multiple examples of animal captivity facilities, such as, zoos, aquariums, laboratories, and the circus. Immediately, he states that dogs can survive on vegetarian and vegan diets. Cats are known to be strictly carnivorous, but can eat synthetic amino acids as a replacement to meat even though it has a lot of dangerous health risks. Ward comments that a dog had lived for 27 years on a vegan diet, but also states that there have been no studies that he has been aware of that compares meat to vegetarian diets for dogs.
