Dear Friend, So I know you are in the process of leaving soon to head off to college. An I am not writing this letter to overwhelm you, freak you out or to tell you where it is best to go to school, no I am only writing this out to you just to give you some helpful insight. On both Urban Community areas and Rural Community areas, to tell you the pros and cons to both that way you can sort out an idea for yourself on which one you think is the better decision to live in for the next four years to attend college in. When it comes to college life on a Rural campus you are surrounded by a more natural setting, taking in more scenery of nature a very peaceful environment not much of the city. Usually these types of colleges are smaller which is in the likings of the students attending there because it allows them to get close to the student body an get to know everyone.With that being said here are the cons, if you are not a very outdoors person and do not like being away from the city in a smaller more peaceful an quiet place, then rural campuses are not for you. As well as if you are a person who likes a lot of diversity to be around a lot of people an to see different faces. Because Rural colleges are typically located in smaller town like areas which means community engagement an opportunities are limited as well as public transportation , you will most likely need your own car if you are to attend a Rural college.Now as far as safety and danger is concerned since you would be in a very small population I would say areas like this can be some what sketchy at times so be aware and try to make a group of close acquaintances. Moving on to Urban College campuses an their pros, these particular colleges are for the students who are ready to go about their independent lives soon as they have graduated
