Growing up in North Florida, she watched her father start and develop a highly successful commercial construction company. Bernie Sanders and the Democratic party share similar views on many of the issues that the United States faces. While they share the same views Sanders is generally seen as leaning more left than most of the general party 's stances. Sanders is pro choice, believes in gender and marriage equality, believes that war should be a last resort option, believes that we should continue our fight with ISIS but the majority of the work should be done by the Muslim nations and we should use coalitions and not try to do it all by ourselves, Sanders wants to make public colleges tuition and debt free, and he wants to have more taxes on the billionaire class, and make them pay their fair share. Statement on Research Research as a service to society has been always my main motivator; I realize that this may be considered naive, nevertheless it is the base of my commitment to the Land Grant University System. Although the impact of the Land Grant University System is very difficult to accurately measure with simple statistics, there is no doubt in mind (in agreement with many authors) that the research conducted in Universities like South Dakota State University (SDSU) is likely one of the main factors in the economic and technological development of the USA in the 20th century, and it is an example of the impact that universities could and should have to improve people’s lives around the World. My path to law school has began in my sophomore year of college, now I am ready for the challenges ahead with an eagerness to learn. I have discovered over the years that I embody the unique combination of activism, diligence, and courage beneficial for a legal career. I originally had an interest in pursuing a law degree as a student in the School of International and Public Affairs at Florida International University. At the time, I chose to major in criminal justice with the intention of becoming a defense attorney. However as I neared graduation I was not certain about a career as a defense attorney.
I would like to be apart of ASB because I’m interested in helping Medea be the best school it can be. I always like to learn new things and I will appreciate new experiences learning from seventh and eighth graders. I am responsible and I am excited for my leadership skills to be tested. Also, I will gain more responsibility and learn more leadership skills throughout my time in ASB. As part of ASB, I will be able to work with other students who have similar interests and want to be fellow leaders at Medea.
Anticipate what it will be like for you as a student at the University of Delaware. Both in and out of the classroom, where do you expect to feel most comfortable and where will you need to stretch? As a student at University of Delaware I would hope to do extremely well in my classes and earn academic achievement in my field of study. I feel proficient in academics, but there are other areas where I wish to improve.
I am currently working as an LPN rooming patients in an OB/GYN clinic. My job includes taking vitals, updating medical records as necessary, preparing exam rooms for the providers, administering injections and medications per order, and recording signs and symptoms for the providers. I work along side the providers and midwives assisting with procedures. I place OB patients on the non-stress testing machines and educate patients on topics such as breastfeeding, maintaining a healthy pregnancy, etc. Working here, I 've been able to witness many situations that drive me to want to succeed as a doctor, such as being able to assist patients who are in active labor or empowering patients to take better care of their health.
Throughout middle school, I developed a strong interest in law, which I never lost. Because of this, I began doing extensive research on the qualifications and prospective career pathways in law, and this sparked my interest in becoming a City Attorney. Due to my growing passion, I started taking several classes through the Northwest Iowa Community College to get a jump start on my education. Since then, I've studied a variety of psychology courses along with others like Social Issues, Introduction to Political Science, and Introduction to Criminal Justice. These classes have taught me an immense amount about our political systems, and I will be able to apply my newly-found knowledge in my future endeavors.
Personal Career Goal Statement Short Term Career Plans Currently, I’m working on achieving three short term career plans. My first plan is to obtain the California Salesperson License and locate a full-time job in California as a real estate salesperson. My second plan is to obtain a broker license by taking the broker’s real estate exam.
World War I was the result of internal conflict in Germany. In the decades leading up to the war there was many instances of disregarding political opinions that did not follow conservative ideals that Bismarck believed. From the beginning of united Germany it was done with political manipulation and careful orchestrating of a war that would bring about the desired outcome of a united Germany. The governmental system that ran the united Germany was completely biased against any decision that Bismarck or Prussia did not approve. The class conflict was attempted to be resolved with providing jobs and potentially increasing the wealth of the country, but it did the opposite.
To be a trailblazer in my family means more to me than to some others. My family came from Cameroon, Africa as a family of seven. The first apartment we were able to live in was a two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment. One bedroom was for my parents and the second was shared between all five kids. Two boys on the top bunk and three girls on the bottom bunk.
Throughout my whole life I have always passionate about agriculture. I joined 4-H late in elementary school and was exposed to a side of a side of agriculture I was unfamiliar with at the time. Because of the positive role models in 4-H and FFA, I was introduced to raising and showing livestock. Through these projects I gained valuable life skills such as time-management, responsibility, and the value of a hard work ethic. While raising livestock is no easy feat, the process gave me the confidence to tackle any issue.
To begin this writing, I want to say I am very honored to be part of the 2022 waitlist, I see it as another opportunity to prove myself worthy of Stern. I lived in Nigeria for almost nine years, and the things I saw have had a lasting impact in my life. In Nigeria, I was surrounded by extreme poverty. Many people searched and craved for a life worth living. People, even children, were begging for money and carrying heavy baskets filled with food on their head just to get enough money to support their family.
Having a Masters degree would not only improve my quality of life but will also assist me in reaching my career goal. I am applying for the Business management and leadership program because I would like to be an effective leader in mentoring underprivileged children. With this program, I will gain the knowledge and the ability to develop and to understand leadership and managerial skills in terms of its coursework, and research projects, while learning from a global perspective. The challenges I overcame, and the discipline I have developed, and the knowledge I have acquired makes me a good fit for this program.
