College athletes should be paid because every time they play a sport they are risking career threatening injuries, they are playing a violent sport and they should get some type of payment for playing on national stage, but then i can see why they shouldn’t be paid because of the money they are getting from their scholarship and they're still in school if they were getting paid in college what will be the point of going to school and getting a education.NCAA football generates billions in revenue for schools with teams. If that were true, athletes and coaches in the NFL would also be overpaid but their salaries are largely determined by the demand for their product . the reason college coaches are overpaid is because the salaries of their employees the players aren’t determined by market forces. I think that they should change it to where since the players are playing and isn’t getting paid for it isn’t right because they could suffer a injury to where they couldn't be able to play football again. Its seems like they are just playing for free and getting nothing out of it. But hundreds to thousands of dollars.
