June 2nd at the Austin Peay Dunn Center, I will promenade across the stage with pride as I graduate from Fort Campbell High School because during my high school career, I have been a successful honor roll student by maintaining a 3.5-grade point average or higher. Challenging myself with honors my freshmen and sophomore year, and Advance Placement (AP) courses my junior and senior year, has given me the opportunity and experience to strive for college readiness. As a freshman, beginning high school can be an intimidating experience and cause students to want to ease their way into the next four years; however, I wanted to challenge myself. This resulted in me taking Honors Literature and Honors World History. Classes such as those, allowed me to understand that I was highly capable of a more intense workload while achieving A’s and B’s in both classes. However, I wanted to prove to myself and those around me that I was capable of being exceptional; therefore, I decided to take on courses, such as AP Language, AP Psychology, Pre-Calculus, and Advanced Via Individual Determination (AVID) Tutor. As an AVID Tutor, I am someone that coordinates the scholarships for the senior class and is also someone that is reliable, responsible, and deemed trustworthy to give advice to all grades about academic, social, and personal topics. Also, within my course load is Model United Nations (MUN), which is a class that I am able to roleplay as a delegate to the United Nations (UN) and the UN committees to debate about current worldwide issues. The last four years, I have been challenged by my course load without over exhaustion, which I believe is a key to success in high school and in
