In the story "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connel, Richard Connel believes that you should always stay alarmed when you're in a place you're not familiar with. The story takes place soon after World War I and on a Caribbean island. The main character, Rainsford is on a yacht with a women named Whitney when the waves of the ocean knocked Rainsford off the yacht. He then goes unconscious and is washed up on a Caribbean island.
