With this background, this position seems particularly suited to my interests. I truly love working with children and enjoy being involved in their development. I am an ideal candidate for this position since I am fully aware of all the latest techniques and methods used in the process of a child’s growth and knowledge advancement. I am also quite suitable to work in a group or independently because I have a tolerant and friendly nature and enjoy team work. I am kindly thankful for your consideration of my application.
We create a positive and secure environment, working to ensure all children feel safe, appreciated and important. We do this by being inclusive, treating each child as an individual and promoting mutual respect. One of the most natural factors of being an Early Years Practitioner is nurturing the children in our care, this is salient in creating healthy attachments in children. We show this by using positive body language when interacting with children, we show them we are interested to help develop their sense of attachment and security. We are sensitive and attend to their needs, children
I have worked to safeguard children and promote their welfare, which includes protecting them from maltreatment or things that are bad for their health or development; and making sure they grow up in circumstances that allow safe and effective care. I work in partnership with service users to support social integration, empowering them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting health outcomes, resilience, peer support, employment opportunities and self-determination. I am excited at the possibility to develop new skills, undertake more training and willing to take on any new challenge such as urine screening and handling body fluid
Upon your request, I have written an informative career report using research on a topic in my major field, childcare worker. In the report I have included my findings on the education needed, important characteristics/skills to have, job expectations, and the job outlook for a childcare worker. While doing my research, I realized that in order for a person to succeed in this field, one must have certain characteristics/skills. One must have good communication skills, decision-making skills, instructional skills, interpersonal skills, and most importantly be very patient. In addition, I also realized that this profession can become very demanding and tiring sometimes.
But to be a childcare worker you have to have a friendly, patience, and understanding
Susan, thank you for addressing international issues in child life! I personally feel that we need to begin to advocate for internationalizing the field of child life on the individual and council level. If you look at other jobs, for example, a physician, there are universally understood careers and roles. Whereas child life is not internationally understood because there are so many different job titles and variations of our role across countries/continents. I have always been fascinated by the ‘child life’ service provision in other countries, which is why I loved this VT and the reserve readings.
e changing face of early years care and education in the UK Introduction The education policy in the UK seeks to provide the children with good quality education and care as from the earliest years for it is believed to be influential in the later years of education and life. I have been babysitting for just over 4 years now. I have experience watching kids aged newborn- 10 years old. I have worked for two different families over long periods of time. I have a 6-week-old daughter, 2 cats and a dog. I enjoy doing crafts, coloring and activities that include learning with the children.
I think we need to continue paying attention to the quality and continuous improvement of childcare by always looking to see what we can add to help the children succeed further in learning and imagination. Some of the factors that contribute to my challenges are the parents can’t afford to make payment at times. Always told they make too much to get help from outside sources. I feel as though my program offers meaningful learning experiences at a fair price.
Currently, I work at a daycare leading a group of twenty preschoolers. Working with these students has given me the patience and understanding necessary to work students in all capacities. I have learned how to address each student’s unique needs and help integrate that into the overall learning environment. In addition, I work with parents to discuss the child’s progress. All of this is done in a professional and confidential way.
I personally believe that a big part of the mission for many high schools across the country is to help guide the students with what they want to do with their life. Students are at the point in their life where they are picking a career and possibly a college. I want to be there to help students figure out what they want to do and how to accomplish those goals. The students in high school are starting to be independent people and I think it is part of our job to help them prepare for their future endeavors; whether it be continuing their education or attaining a job upon graduation, and to encourage them and be a support system along the way.
Statement of Purpose I began my teaching career at the Miami-Dade County Public Schools District in the fall of 1999. I remember vividly that on my first day that my administrator handed me a pacing guide and a textbook. I was left alone to figure out the best way to keep my student engaged in the learning process. I took the challenge and infused technology into my teaching.
My first placement was set in a nursery were I was interacting with 0-2 year old children. I feel this gave me a fantastic insight on how children develop and grow; this is where I confirmed I wanted to be a midwife or paediatric nurse. In my second year I was lucky to be given the chance to attend the maternity and children’s ward for a number of weeks. This opened my eyes to what these careers entailed every day. By just spending a day in each ward I am now determined to pursue in either one of these
Personal statement Most people knew exactly what they wanted to be "since they were five". I never had a specific idea of who or what I wanted to be when I was that age and I certainly didn’t have a passion for English. In fact I wasn’t able to read or write until I was the age of seven, despite being at a disadvantage I used that as incentive to work twice as hard as the other students. However my interest for English literature only truly started to blossom at the age of thirteen when my sister lent me one of her book series.
