The ethics revolving around animal rights and animal testing are highly controversial. A large scale of people in the United States say that animals deserve some protection from misuse, while other Americans argue animals are worthy of the same rights as humans. However, a quarter of Americans object banning medical research, which results from animal testing. A clear majority of people if they were tied up or injected with substances into the bloodstream or inhalation and force-feeding would lean towards declining the studies. As for animals, we are their voice and give them no option but to be tested on and when finished it either results in death or sold to another laboratory. Is that humane? Moore, a public lukewarm writer, released data regarding Americans views on animal rights and states “women are more likely than men to support animal rights, and Democrats more than Republicans, but there are few differences by age.” With that being specified it shows that differentiating between gender and political views it will clearly specify who is for and who is against. Stage of development (age) on the other hand shows a scarce amount of variety, which is attributable to their biological sex. Democrat or not, we are entitled to our rights just as animals should be.
