Academic Goal #1: Throughout my junior year, I will work on improving my verbal presentation skills. Some key points for me to focus on would be to rehearse the presentation repeatedly so that my presentation is more polished, and to review my presentation for any verbal tics. Reflection Paragraph #1: It is important for me to work on my verbal presentation skills during junior year so that I will be prepared during senior year and after high school to give a presentation should the occasion arise. This applies to all of my classes, especially in AP Physics, where I will spend cougar time teaching the material needed to pass the exam since most AP classes are more self-taught than others. Throughout my high school career, I have given verbal presentations before, however I tend to stutter on my own words, lose my place in a presentation due to mixing up my note cards, and I have non-verbal tics that I do repeatedly throughout my presentation. For this year, I hope to gain more experience in public speaking. This goal applies to most of my classes because for most of my assignments do not involve just one definite way to figure out the answer. They involve multiple indefinite ways to solve a unique problem. In my high school career before junior year, most of these kinds of problems that I mentioned before I only had to deal with in my extracurriculars, and never in my classes. Which is partially the reason why most of my classes were so easy. As a result of this, I now have to learn that some problems can have multiple solutions and multiple ways of solving
