As I strive to achieve great academic success and leadership at Montana State University, I hope that my previous experiences will catalyze this process. Using my interests in academics, participation in extracurricular activities, and my own strengths, I hope to become a strong leader. I know I can achieve being both a scholar and an example for other students by utilizing my previous experiences. When I start my journey at Montana State, I expect to find students with common academic interests as myself. My goal is to connect with these students, who appreciate education in a similar way I do, in order to help each other understand topics or lessons that we will learn.
I am most attracted to Loma Linda University’s mission to make man whole and continue the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus Christ and its commitment to faith and science. As a Seventh-day Adventist christian, the motto to make man whole has never been more personal than it is now. As I grow in my experience as a christian, to further the teaching and healing ministry of Jesus continues to take center stage. This mission and an understanding of the need for whole person care is something I seek to demonstrate and encourage through my profession as a nurse and involvement in my community.
I personally believe that UNC Wilmington will allow me to grow academically as a student as well as an adult. Being from a small town in Maine I have always been the type of person to try new things and live to the fullest. When I decided to go to college, my mind was set on staying close to home my first year and getting the feel of what it is like. I strongly feel I am a very independent person and enjoy the challenges of doing things on my own. I have changed my mind many times on a career path I wish to pursue I don’t find it easy for someone my age to know exactly what they want to do for the rest of their life.

I want to go to Hoosier Girls State so I can better my community when I return. I can use the new leadership skills that I acquire at Girls State to help run my school’s Student Council, National Honor Society, and Sunshine Society. Leadership skills are very important for me because I am currently the Vice President of Sunshine Society, and I will be campaigning for President next year. I hope to continue to be an efficient leader for our Sunshine members, and lead by example for the underclassmen.
I love traveling to new places and learning everything I can. When I come back I can share the ideas that I have learned to benefit the community. While touring a college, I learned that they have an annual fundraiser where they race rubber ducks for a hunger drive. I brought that idea to my FFA chapter and now we are currently working on a way to do something similar at my high school. While I have only traveled in Wisconsin I can not wait to go farther and share ideas from the whole world to make UW-Superior the best place it can possibly be.

It is my ambition to one day be able to accept
I want to apply to UW-Madison because of my love for learning how humans work through psychology. As a child, I was always faced with the same question, “Why did they do that?” From then on, I always found myself analyzing every aspect from any angle I could. When I began taking social and government classes, another interest of mine, I found every point easier to understand because of my knowledge of psychology. UW became my number one because my mental health care team all have degrees from your school.

One of the reasons Penn. State University is a primary candidate for my future studies is the diversity of the student populace, as I believe the number of unique cultures and peoples represented throughout the institution will be beneficial to myself and my peers. For most of my life, I have lived as the son of a member of the United States Air Force, and the diversity in the places that I have lived and the diversity of the people who lived there have deeply shaped my life. People of different religions, different races, and different heritages have lived around me throughout most of my life, and their ideas and ideals have influenced me. However, I realized how much I had taken cultural diversity for granted once my father retired from the Air Force and moved to our current location.
