“A creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing." This is how Walter Isaacson, official biographer, described Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs is the person in history I would like to meet if I had the opportunity to because of his way of looking at the world, the knowledge he obtained, and love of mechanics and engineering. To be able to have a conversation with someone of such intelligence would be incredible.
Steve Jobs was the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc. He was also the CEO and largest shareholder of Pixar Animation Studios and a member of the Walt Disney …show more content…

He said, “ I was always pretty bored in school and turned into a little terror... you should have seen us in the third grade, we basically destroyed the teacher." He was known to play pranks on other students and frequently misbehave. He was even suspended a few times. His inability to function properly in classroom threw off teacher and they didn’t see his intelligence. In fourth grade things turned around with a teacher named Teddy who bribed Jobs to do work. Jobs says he learned more in fourth grade than any other year in school. He then skipped fifth grade and went straight to sixth grade where he was a “social outcast.” He wanted to drop out of school but he did not. The further knowledge that Jobs obtained throughout the years of highschool and college all started with the fact that he could read before he got to school and of the mechanics that were a great love shared by his father and him. Having a single conversation with someone who knows so much about everything could teach you a million new and interesting things. As a child Steve’s father encouraged him to build things like fences and cabinets and general things like that. Later in the eighth grade Steve started working at Hewlett Packard where he assembled frequency counters. Freshman year at Homestead High, Steve enrolled in “Electronics 1” along with friend Bill Fernandez which he later lost interest in and quit. Throughout highschool and college Jobs floated away from engineering and electronics and more towards english and music. Jobs continued to stay in the alternative phase until he returned to Atari where he was tasked to build a circuit board for the arcade video game, Breakout. In 1976, Apple Inc. was created with the first Apple I computer. Steve’s interest in engineering and mechanics never really left him and was a prominent factor in his life. I am not very knowledgeable in these areas but these two topics are very interesting to me. Steve knew a great deal about both. He could spend hours talking about how to make something or how to perfectly execute a design for another
