Steve Jobs - Greatest in Technology Technology in the 21st century has not only evolved, but grown at an alarmingly fast rate and changed the way people live on a daily basis. From the computers we use daily, to the phones we communicate on and the way we interact with others, has all been impacted by the advancements in technology. In the 21st century society has witnessed dramatic changes in technology such as doctor office visits transitioning from paper charts to computers, to the evolution of social media, to downsizing of computers, to touch screen cell phones and tablets. One of the biggest influences in the field of technology was an intelligent and aspiring man by the name of Steve Jobs.
Born in San Francisco, California in 1955, to two University of Wisconsin graduate students who gave him up for adoption, nobody knew what would become of Steve Jobs. Ever since a young age, Steve Jobs had been interested in technological mechanics. Surprisingly, Steve Jobs actually started making his first products for Apple in his garage, and he experimented with many different ideas before finally starting the popular company, Apple, with Steve Wozniak in 1976. For example, he took a position as a video game designer with Atari in 1974, and purchased an animation company from George Lucas, which later became Pixar Animation Studios, which made popular movies such as Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always been interested in technology. Technology always has and always will play a major role in the lives of all human beings, from cell phones to computers to smart watches.
