In today's society, it isn't that bizarre to see someone take out an Apple product like an iPhone or IPod. Our constant use of these devices makes the Apple company known around the globe. No matter where you go, you will almost always discover someone who recognizes the name. The company’s success was aided by one very ambitious man named Steve Jobs. As one of the founders of Apple, Steve Jobs engineered a number of innovative creations that changed the world as we know it. To this day, Steve Job’s contributions to modern technology are nearly unmatched by any other with breakthroughs regarding personal cellphones and computers. For instance, Steve Jobs was adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs as an infant and was raised under their care for the rest of his childhood. Being raised by the Jobs’ gave Steve the passion and determination that was later applied in his company. It also exposed him to the field of mechanics, technology, and engineering since his father was in that field. Additionally, when he attended elementary school, he was so hooked that he skipped fifth grade and went straight to Crittenden Middle School. However, the kids there bullied him for being different and so Jobs asked his parents to move. That's when he moved to Los Altos which proved to be decisive for his future because that is where he realized what he specialized in and what he wanted to do with his skills. Furthermore, when Steve Jobs moved to the Los Altos area, he later enrolled at a school named Homestead High. There he befriended a boy named Bill Fernandez who introduced him to Steve Wozniak, an eighteen year old that shared the same interests with Jobs. Wozniak and Jobs became friends right away and the two became business partners later on in their lives. They were the ones who founded the Apple company and started changing the industry. For example, he became a multimillionaire at the age of twenty-five years old and later a multibillionaire when Pixar was made public. Even afterwards, Jobs still continued to accumulate more and more wealth that most people couldn't make in a lifetime. Another accomplishment was the creation of the iPhone and the iPad. Jobs was able to create the cellphone that had a touchscreen and no keyboard and a tablet that used by many business companies. He revolutionized the cellphone and business industries all in one go. Moreover, the company still continues to prosper years after Jobs’ death. Today, Apple has come out with even more cutting-edge inventions such as Touch ID on the brand new iPhones.
