The college experience for many is great, but life for many student athletes is very rough. They go to college looking to go to the higher level in their sport and most come out with debt and no chance for a higher level play. Playing in college even in a low level D3 school makes it almost impossible to have a job because of the time consumed playing and the time spent studying and doing homework and such. So they are expected to pay for rent, food, clothes, classes, textbooks, and annual tuition yet they have no time for jobs. The punitive and self-righteous governing body of college sports spends most of its time sniffing out minor violations to punish the athletes responsible for generating annual revenue that is expected to top $1 billion. Athletes are generating that revenue and deserve a slice of the pie. This situation is similar to a large group of employees in a company working long hours, some of them far from home, also going to school full time, and having their employer enjoy the advantage of millions of dollars but not making a cent for themselves. Sounds like a sweatshop, but as a matter of fact, it describes the NCAA member Institution.With having all of the enthusiasm and action that college sports possesses being most available and at the tip of your finger. Video game producers took hold of releasing high-tech video game replicas of the current college sports. Especially with the improvement of graphics, playability, and sound, this technology turns into revenue for the video game producers and for the NCAA considering they license their logos/names.In both football and basketball, where the revenue for televising the bowl games and March Madness reach new levels of every year, there is now demand and talk for providing the players with substantial pay from the revenue received since they are the whole reason the money is there in the first
