A Lot of schools need more teachers’. The world needs teachers. Being a teacher will help students become more successful in their education. That 's why I want to become a teacher so I can help students understand the concepts of learning different material. That 's why it takes time and effort to finish a task from where you start.
Ever since I was little, in sixth grade, I’ve known that I wanted to make some kind of impact on the world. I’ve known that I wanted people to know me, to love me and to remember me. I wanted to make such an impact on someone’s lives that they told strangers or even their kids about me. I realized this goal when I met one of the most influential men in my life, and no, before you assume things, it is not my father, although he does inspire me in many other ways. My sixth grade math teacher, Mr. Brewer, was and still is one of the goofiest people you could ever meet.
Helping children and young adults in learning basic skills in reading, writing, and communicating are some of my personal goals as a future teacher. Another imperative aspect is to become a role model for them and share my knowledge and skills in the subject. Moreover, the goals I have for my students is to help them gain interest in learning for the rest of their life, but not only for a passing grade. One of the methods that I will like to use as a teacher is the direct instruction approach since the students will need an introduction to the concepts, topics, and explanation.
They are there for me thru good and bad times and by becoming a teacher, I would love to give back what they taught me. My teachers are very special to me. I would love to be that special to my students. I see that students do not always like high
I think the most important and rewarding part of being a teacher is the relationships we make with our students, and making school a fun, safe,
I am sure all teachers have that one students who pushes them to the edge every day. The student that you wish you could take home and them a spanking for their behavior. The one students who makes them question themselves on why they became a teacher in the first place. After interviewing my cooperating teacher, I realized that her student bad Billy fit the description.
I can remember to this day when I was younger, and every day that I went to school, I would admire my teachers and all their hard work. I told myself all the time, that in the future, that would be me. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. I knew I wanted to be hardworking, selfless, and dedicated in my future career, and to me that is exactly what an educator is. I strive to be a teacher that inspires others to love learning as much as I do and also to create a welcoming learning environment in which my students can thrive.
A teacher may be there to primarily teach, but while they are teaching not only are they giving students information, they are sparking new ideas that the students can use for their future. The ideas can lead to them becoming interested in a new topic, or can lead to them wanting to do something with that information other than remember it. Encouragement is key to staying dedicated to something. Teachers can be really good for that, for example “History teacher Kyle Anderson” told his history teacher when he was in high school he was interested in becoming a teacher, the teacher then states "Kyle, this world needs people like you to teach history. I’ll do anything I can to help you with your journey."
If I am able to show student the value in a work ethic and the learning process, I will have fulfilled my goals as a teacher. The most important skill a teacher can posses is the ability to build relationships. Relationships, to me, are incredibly important. I have been involved in too many classrooms in which the teacher is ineffective because he or she does
Most importantly a teacher with motivation will be a great teacher. I plan on becoming a great teacher because I enjoy working with kids, I want to be involved in afterschool activities, and the friendly work
Teaching is full of challenges, frustrations, and responsibilities but is also filled with huge rewards. I believe that all students are capable of learning if they have the proper motivation and direction from their teachers. I believe that teachers need to be aware of educational learning theories, motivation, behaviour, and student development in order to relate to their students and push them to reach their full potential. Teaching should be viewed as an evolving and ongoing practice with implications that continual professional development is an essential element of the teaching practice. Learning is through activity with participation, collaboration and interaction with others in a well organised practice, where social guidance aids student’s learning.
Looking back at the factors that influenced me to become a teacher has taken me on an interesting walk down memory lane. Although I always knew that I wanted to teach, I made a few detours along the way. Many personal factors contributed to the choices I made. After graduating from high school at the age of seventeen years and two months, leaving home after graduation, and trying to support myself while attending college, I was forced to examine some other fields that might allow me to finish college in a shorter amount of time. It wasn’t easy to be a seventeen year old girl on her own in Atlanta.
1 A teacher can build a positive relationship with students by remembering their names and important details. I’m a fan of having the students fills out a notecard with information they want their teacher to be aware of as well as their name and interesting facts. Which gives the student an opportunity to let the teacher know relevant information that may not come up normally in conversation. A positive classroom starts with constructive feedback where ever possible. Psychology tells us that all ages are more receptive to positive feedback.
Since I was a little kid, I have always had my mind set on being a teacher. Throughout school there have been many teachers that I consider role models and some who have pushed me in the direction of teaching. As I got older, I have discovered the reason why I want to be a teacher rather than the answer I used to give when I was a kid “I like to work with kids”. Teaching to me now is much more than enjoying working with kids. It is about inspiring students and getting them excited about learning.
Overall, I really enjoyed the opportunity to teach in a different country. It was an amazing experience to be able to teach those kids any kind of English and to see the looks on their faces when they learned an unfamiliar word. One thing I noticed while teaching was when they learned a new word, they would all say the word back to me to help store it in their brain. Even though I was only there for a couple of hours, it was amazing to see the progression of them learning unfamiliar words. This experience made me very excited to be a teacher soon.
