There were many flaws with the Articles of Confederation for example there was not an executive branch. In article two section one of the Constitution they made it so the President had executive power along with a Vice President. Another issue was the fact that there were not any federal courts. This was changed in article three section one and two, and they stated that the judicial power will be held by one supreme court with inferior courts. There also was no power to tax or regulate commerce.
A large group of students in the United States makeup a large population of English language learners. Students who are considered English language learners undergo many challenges in their education, and without the necessary support and resources from their educators it can make it hard for them to succeed. A teacher plays a significant role in the success of a child, and it is crucial for them to be able to provide the proper education to students whose first language is not English. It is also very important for teachers to understand the challenges that these students are facing. Having empathy towards the students allows for the teacher to create better connections and relationships to better help them.
The purpose for students to go through so many stages to reach their goal of becoming a teacher is to make them more informed and experienced about their career. The professional dispositions allow the students to know how to behave professionally, be ethically professional towards their students as well as colleagues, personally develop their skills as a preservice candidate, and successfully go through the all the stages to become a teacher. In my experiences from K-12, I have never considered a teacher to be unprofessional to my peers or myself. A teacher who comes to school dressed accordingly for work is considered professional.
I am currently teaching at Swainston Middle School in North Las Vegas. Our student population is very diverse, including English Language Learners (ELLs). During this time as a teacher, I have served students with different language needs. It has been my goal to engage ELL students in my lessons as every other student. It is my opinion that as teachers we are all language teachers.
What do you currently teach and where? I am a December graduate of the University of Charleston. I graduated magna cum laude. After graduation I began substituting. I substituted at a variety of schools in Kanawha County in a variety of grades.
I know that at times my strategies will not go as I plan them to go but I know that with my support system and the effort I put into my schooling, I will succeed. I believe that every child deserves to have access to quality education. Getting to know each student is a great way to promote an inclusive environment and get to know their cultural backgrounds. Having a safe and welcoming environment will play an important role that I will implement when I have my classroom.

We as educators owe it to our students to help them keep learning and growing in order to offer many ways that they can be success. When children are little they always have dreams of what they want to be when they grow up. Some kids want to be ballerinas, firemen, and astronauts. for as long as I can remember I've always wanted to be a teacher. The areas I wanted to teach have always deferred over the years, but my love for teaching has always stayed the same. I remember when I was younger, I would force my siblings to play teacher with me.
It is with sincere interest that I am writing as an applicant for the online EdD in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Curriculum, Teaching, & Teacher Education within the School of Teaching and Learning. The following is my statement of purpose that I hope will give you a clear picture of my experiences, interests, and desires to become a doctoral student. Everything has come together for this moment in my life where I am ready to pursue my doctoral degree. My childhood dream of becoming a teacher has come to fruition, but there have been some influential events along the way that have gotten me to this point where I am ready to further my career and make a positive impact in the education field.
In Early Childhood Education a preschool teacher’s role is to benefit and teach kids in a safe, beneficial environment. The teacher's role is to make sure all the students understand or get the help needed to help better understand important concepts that they will be learning to help them as they get older. The teacher should make sure the kids feel comfortable enough to express themselves and be themselves so they can let their creativity out and help grow their social skills with other kids around them. Teachers' role in the classroom is to also do the basic things like making sure their lesson plan is age appropriate and the students will be able to understand it, The preparation and understanding of it themselves, and making changes to
Reflecting on my preceding experiences in education, I acknowledge the immense impact that teachers cause on the lives of their students. I recognize that the knowledge and skills collected in the classroom, will be utilized by students throughout life. As a teacher, I aspire to be a role model that resonates with young people. My goal is to maintain an open mind, the ability and knowledge to view the world critically, and the confidence in my capacity to make positive contributions to our society. Bearing this goal in mind, I am applying for admission into the Graduate School of Education in Elementary and Special Education program.
In order for me as a teacher to know the needs of each and every learner in my class I need to fully engage all of them in my learning processes. Most of all I need to have open ears to hear out my learners grievances or issues that they are concerned about. Each and every learner in my class should be my first priority. I will always make sure that I recruit their interests in everything that I do or say in their class presence. In order for me to make them more interested in my teaching skills I will connect what am teaching with the happenings of real life to grab their interest.
It’s another day of sitting through seven periods. Seven hours. Seven classes. You find yourself in a hard desk daydreaming about your future. You think to yourself, “how is chemistry going to help me with my future in graphic designing.”
The three keys can help you become a successful teacher because they all help you maintain order and balance in your classroom and in your life. The first key, Be Reasonable, will help many teachers to not be disappointed when their first experiences in the classroom do not match up to their idealized version of teaching. With this in mind, they can give themselves and their classes the space to learn from their mistakes. The second key, Organize Your Life, is essential because being organized not only sets a good example for students, but because being prepared will always be better than not being prepared. This way, a teacher can start each day with a plan and end it by making notes on what worked and what did not.
Teaching is enriching for endless reasons, but to me, teaching is a dream. There will be no two days that are exactly the same. Each day will bring on new experiences. I believe that each child is a true individual and my sincerist hope is to help students fulfill their potential to become successful in this world. I believe that the best classrooms are those that have a loving and well informed teacher, a room full of curious students and supportive parents.
