The doctrine of the Trinity explains several parts of both our orthodoxy as well as our orthopraxy. Frankly, there are many things that we do now (and have done for most of Christian history) that do not make any logical sense without it. Prayer is does not line up logically without both a Holy Spirit as well as a Father. How else could we believe that our words would ever be sufficient for the Creator? Romans tells us that the Holy Spirit intercedes and becomes the interpreter between us and the Father.
In my role as a future educator, I intend to balance the fulfillment of the curriculum's objectives with respect for the distinctive personalities of the students I will teach. I possess a strong preference for the care pedagogy method of education. Integrating care pedagogy into the classroom places the responsibility of providing a safe and caring environment on the educator and emphasizes the value of developing a rapport with the students so that they feel supported. I would like my future students to view me as a compassionate role model through my actions of promoting appropriate self-validation. I will actively work to establish a great deal of importance on my students' character growth as well as their success in education.
I am working toward the teaching profession to have a positive impact on students. I want to share with the students how they can be successful and enjoy learning in the process. I have worked with children from all social classes. I have seen the children who come in the same dirty clothes two or three days in a row. I have seen the way these children interact with each other and the adults.
As I mentioned previously, I was the first family member to attend college, and while my family was there to support me they really didn’t understand the college process. Mrs. Gaines is a prime example of how a teacher can make a difference in a student’s life, without her help I may not have attended a four year university, and instead I probably would have opted to go a different route. What she did had a lasting impact on my life and I would like to do the same for my students. Whether that means helping a student through the college process, or assisting them with a dilemma they are facing outside of school. I want to pay it forward by using the teaching skills Mrs. Gaines taught me as well as the experiences we had and bring them into my classroom.
I have been interested in pursuing a career in Primary Education for a short time, however it has been a time of determination to achieve my goal of becoming a teacher. There are many reasons why a career in primary school teaching appeals to me. I enjoy interacting with children, and understanding how they learn, develop and see the world. The idea of playing a large role in helping children to learn and understand, and seeing them develop their skills over a year greatly appeals to me. I enjoy the idea of being able to help them learn and discover new things.
I want to teach because I believe that I can make a difference in today society to shape young minds. The reason why I wanted to become a teacher is when I was in high school I did not have a clue what I wanted to be and then I met this teacher who actually had my sister for a student. So basically she already knew my whole family. Anyways when I met this teacher she started to ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up and my responds was I have no clue, I am still experiencing things. Then she started to tell me about what she teaches, she teaches child development.
This experience has shown me that there is so much more than just standing in front of a classroom and teaching students. As a teacher your contract hours may consist of 35 hours a week, but your actual hours are more like 60 hours a week. As a teacher you not only teach, you also attend meetings, hold parent conference meetings, grade papers, create lesson plans, act as a role model for all of your students, help with curriculum nights, assist on different teams and committees and a multitude of other duties. This service learning experience has better prepared me to become a teacher. I now know how I want to run my own classroom, how to incorporate engaging activities into my lessons, how to control a classroom, and several other teaching
As a student, when you enter into a school or a typical day in a classroom, you don’t think twice about the job or task assigned to you for the day. You don’t think much about your surroundings, a teaching style, or the needs and challenges others face. Why? We are conditioned to this environment; we are brought up with certain expectations and assumptions of school that is now only second nature to us. We get absorbed into our own world, most always thinking about ourselves, rather than others.
I have always been around children because I am the eldest of six brothers. I always teaching them new things and caring for them as well. I specifically chose Elementary Education because I would like to teach children at their early stage in their education. Education and Certifications Required For My Career Individuals wishing to pursue to career in teaching elementary, middle, or high school in the public school system should first obtain a bachelor’s or
A positive classroom management starts with me as a teacher, my attitudes and the way I behave. establishing good routines gives good class beginnings I inform them with our class rules to be agreed upon after a discussion taking into consideration their opinions .I enforce our rules(principles) fairly and consistently. I try to memorize their names as a way of motivation and encouragement "hey the teacher knows my name". Sometimes I need to call on them by name.
“I’ve come to a frightening conclusion that I am the decisive element in the classroom. It’s my personal approach that creates the climate. It’s my daily mood that makes the weather. As a teacher, I possess a tremendous power to make a child’s life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration.
Education is a two-way street. As a teacher I give the information, and the students receive it. The students then give feedback on my teaching, by comprehending the lesson, or not. In thins sense education is a two-way street. As a teacher I give the information, and the students receive it.
Education is a lifelong process by which people gain knowledge, experience and skills formally by attending an institution and informally by the environment through experience. Education does not only mean learning to read and write or attending school. Teaching simply continued introducing itself in each teacher’s life. Education is important in everyone’s life for living morally, creatively, and productively in the society. Education is important to develop the skills, knowledge.
Many teachers enter the profession with their own ideas of how to teach, and I was no exception. My teaching ideas were grounded in the concept that every student was teachable, and that I, unlike most teachers before me, would be able to unlock the learning for every student. I thought that all my students will turn from their unproductive ways, regardless of their life experiences, and become serious students. I wanted to be a teacher who positively influenced many young lives, and inspired all my students to bright futures in the pursuit of education. I entered the field of education because of me wanting to help humanity and make a difference.
I am pursing a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I am passionate about education and excited to share the joy of learning with students. The perspective of wonder and sense of excitement that children bring into education motivates me daily. Teaching can leave a lasting impression in a child’s life and offers a special opportunity to shape the bright young minds of future generations. While many professions can be impactful, I believe the qualities of the person in the career position to be the most influential.
