This Semester has gone by very fast and there has been a lot of interesting topics that were discussed that were important for a future teacher to know and have more knowledge of what is to come in the future with how life as a teacher works. Many of these topics were very eye opening to me because you get more in depth with what is happening today and how the schools and teachers work together in order to bring a well balanced education to students. From technology in classrooms to diversity being embraced in schools, it just makes me see that a teacher has a lot on her plate and that they are just as hardworking as another other person in their career. So much time and effort has to go into the way a person studying to get the subject down for you to teach later on once they become a teacher and also has to go through training as a student teacher because with that experience, a person has a mentor that can give critical feedback on what a person has to work on and has done correctly. It also helps you grow as a person, more confidence in the way you speak, listen, and act around the children. It helps you get out of your comfort zone to be able leht the students know who is they person they should have their attention to. Without this training, our teachers wouldn’t have the patience and training when something occurs in the classroom such as a fight or behavior issues. Having a credential can also help get other job opportunities such as school counselor, school administrator, state education agency employee. Before taking this class, I never knew you can work for the district as something else other than a teacher. I always thought that with the credential in teaching, you would stay there forever and yes, people can stay, but it's a great opportunity to do something new and use your experiences in a different aspect of the education system. I got the inspiration to become a teacher through a class in high school called ROP preschool and it was a nice experience and it made me change my major from journalism to teaching. I knew just the simple things of teaching such as being a role model to the class, being able to lead students in the right direction towards a better future, having the patience and responsibility to maintain a nice environment, etc. With this class and discussion, I got to see the many opportunities and
