I have always been a very caring person, so deciding to be a teacher came naturally, having an extreme level of patience, and an attention to students needs I believe my skill set will best be used teaching Special Education. I have been in Teaching Academy for 3 years, where I have worked with special education students and fell in love with them teaching. If later in life I chose to pursue teaching a different subject I would hope to still have a connection with students and help those especially who get as discouraged as I do in school.if anything is to come from my mistakes at school I hope it's to encourage others not to make the same. Being a teacher is a goal I have set for myself, I know it will not be easy and it will not always be rewarding but if I can help at least one student I will be able to die satisfied I ask again who is Cecilia Gallegos?
The question raised by homer when evaluating a hero is first what makes a hero? A hero is someone who demonstrates substantial quantities of courage or outstanding achievement. Furthermore, a hero is not someone who does heroic things for no purposes or just for the sake of doing something, they do things because they are obligated to do them, also a force greater than them wills them to do so. A hero takes a risk knowing the danger in addition to embracing it, a hero is as brave as they are strategic, they look death in the eye and death blinks. A person like this must be a mortal, someone who endures pain, feeds on it, is forged from it.
A large group of students in the United States makeup a large population of English language learners. Students who are considered English language learners undergo many challenges in their education, and without the necessary support and resources from their educators it can make it hard for them to succeed. A teacher plays a significant role in the success of a child, and it is crucial for them to be able to provide the proper education to students whose first language is not English. It is also very important for teachers to understand the challenges that these students are facing. Having empathy towards the students allows for the teacher to create better connections and relationships to better help them.

Teaching is important to me because I feel that every child should have a place where they feel cared for and believed in. Since school is where most children spend the majority of their day, being a teacher is a perfect career to provide this safe place for them. I have had a passion for working with kids since my childhood and every year, that deepens as I watch more and more kids grow emotionally, as well as academically. I want to help students reach their potential in every aspect of their life while fostering their love of learning. With these motivations to become an educator, I have found myself resonating most with the Humanistic learning theory.
I love working and shaping young students minds. From a young age, I had an interest in working with children, I desire to be a school counselor and want to help them with their problems and be a mentor to them. I truly believe I have the experience and the personality to make this my reality. I started out college as an elementary education major, I had a passion for teaching, and completed 100+ hours of volunteering. I shadowed teachers and truly believed that teaching was my desired career path.
Teaching was not something I originally thought of when I started school, but when I got accepted here I realized that I could be the Mrs. DeWeese to another child and be able to influence them the same way that I was. Teaching and helping middle school age children is my dream and I feel that I have the patience and passion to be able to teach them. With all the different types of bullying these days, especially cyber-bullying and peer-pressure I hope that one day I am able to become a school counselor; so that I can help more students who struggle with the pressures of middle

I will be there to support them educationally, in their extra -curricular activities, and when needed the social world of school. I want my teaching to make an impact on their lives and open up their eyes to all the opportunities that are out there. I believe that every child can succeed when given the tools, knowledge and a teacher who believes in them, I believe that the circumstances one is born into shouldn't dictate their chances for success, and I believe that a strong education system is essential for America to be great.
I want to become a teacher because I enjoy watching children grow and develop skills needed to be successful in life. Teachers have a large influence on the developing minds of their students and should be mindful of this. I love the “light bulb” moment when children actually understand what you have just taught them. The joy on their faces as they have mastered, or even began to understand, what it is the teacher is talking about is priceless. I believe every child is smart in their own way.
I believe it is a teacher’s job to spark a curiosity for learning from their students. I want to teach so I can spark many children’s curiosity for education. I believe I am a dependable and motivated person and I am excited to teach and bring excitement in to the classroom. Every student has had a different experience with going to school before coming into my class and I want to make sure that for my students I make their learning experience as positive as possible, and they master as many skills as possible.
I can remember to this day when I was younger, and every day that I went to school, I would admire my teachers and all their hard work. I told myself all the time, that in the future, that would be me. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. I knew I wanted to be hardworking, selfless, and dedicated in my future career, and to me that is exactly what an educator is. I strive to be a teacher that inspires others to love learning as much as I do and also to create a welcoming learning environment in which my students can thrive.
