Abortion to the world is a new breakthrough for woman’s rights. That does give women more rights than before but are they ready for the process? Even though abortion legalized in the United Stated in 1973, the court cases should be looked over again. It needs to become illegal because of the reasons women started to abort, women using it as birth control, and the complications that come along with the abortion.
The abortion case known by all is the Roe V. Wade was a case that went on for months however, on January 2nd 1973, the decision was final and abortion was legal for all women to have an abortion (AbortionProCon). Women obtaining abortions are at higher risk for reproductive tract infections, including HIV/AIDS and PID (Abortion). The effect mentally is never shared to the patient either a study in 2002 showed out of 173,000 American women who aborted their baby one hundred and fifty-four percent were likely to commit suicide than women who carried full term.
