Animal testing is not a common topic the society considers to be important in their everyday lives, but really it is a much bigger issue than its made out to be. Technology has become so advanced throughout the years that there are numerous other ways to test products other than using animals as subjects. On the contrary, testing products on the animals might be necessary because they are the closely compared to humans structurally, although the procedures should still not be accepted. The testing has been practiced for many years and is still carried on and practiced for new products and other experiments. “There are many non-animal test methods that can be used in place of animal testing,” (PeTA). This is explaining that there is numerous amounts of other ways scientists can experiment on to check the product for humans other than animals. “Millions of animals suffer and die in testing, training, and other experiments,” (PeTA). There is so much energy and money put towards animal experiments that should be excluded when there are different ways to test these chemicals. It is said to believe the animals lives don't matter but the animals are a necessity for more important aspects such as environmental control, service animals and family household pets. The everyday school system will spend unnecessary money on dissections and biology experiments when it was proven that non-animal tests have more educational value, however if an animal was to die of natural causes and then be donated to the school systems, then this could be a good learning tool. Animals that are killed for this purpose is not a necessity for this kind of animal testing. Not only that, but taxpayers dollars go out to these kinds of experiments way to often.
