The visual rhetoric picture above focus on animal testing as an environmental issue. The reason for this is because there are many contributing factors related to animal extinction. The one will be focusing most intensely on is animal testing by humans. Humans have contributed greatly to animal extinction and animal testing is a crucial factor. Firstly, like to say that animal testing has become a major problem in today’s era, and the reason for this is because of human products. According to organizations, such as PETA, more than one hundred million animals die from animal testing, and this ranges from rats to monkeys. Most of these products are for frivolous luxuries that we enjoy and not life-saving research that may lead to cures for disease. The photographer wanted to educate every possible person in hope that they can see from a serious perspective what is actually happening to these animals because the truth behind animal testing is that animals are being used to test products that nearly half of these products never work. Therefore, these animals are being used and killed unnecessarily. Some may argue that we need to use animals as test subject because they are the closet thing related to a human, but that is not true. Animals are very different form humans,therefore, the outcomes they get on the animals, could not be a good comparison to the results that humans get. PETA states that even though we test on animals, because they are so unreliable, we end up having to test on humans. Ultimately, it will always lead back to trying it on a human, so it is a reasonable argument to start testing the products on voluntary people to begin
