The Atomic Bombs. The dropping of the atomic bombs on japan was not justified, giving them no warning the U.S. went through and dropped the bomb to end war faster killing thousands of people. Considering the fact that this happened during world war 2, many were left dead, hurt, and with destroyed cities, due to japan not wanting to surrender, citizens of japan and the people in japan were impacted by this action. The United States, dropped theses bombs with not one single warning, above cities, and they did it to impress Russia.
Truman did not utilize his power well while faced with the decision to drop the bomb. This is because there were other ways to solve the problem, and it was savage and brutal. The relationship between Japan and America will never be the same. It was so inhumane to drop the bomb.
On August 6th through 9th, 1945, the United States made a controversial decision that changed the course of history. The Atomic Bombing caused an upshot for America to the Japanese. Four years prior, Japan made a surprise attack on the United States Pacific Naval base, Pearl Harbor, on December 7th, 1941. Although Japan had experienced crucial damage from the atomic bomb, the US decision to drop the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a morally justifiable act of self defense. It prevented further American casualties to ending World War II, which also allowed Japan to be held accountable for their surprise attack on Pearl Harbor.
On August 6, 1945 the U.S. dropped the first atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. On August 9, the second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan. As of today, the United States Government made the right decision about having dropped the atomic bombs on Japan because it caused the total surrender of Japan, it saved civilian lives, and it kept the peace balanced across the allies. On August 15, 1945 just 6 days after the second bomb was dropped the japanese announced their total surrender and on September 2, the instrument of surrender was signed.

The bomb was going to be made to defeat the Nazis but, by the time the bomb was tested the Nazis were already defeated. In 1939, the world’s most scientific community found out physicists from Germany learned how to split the uranium atom. Albert Einstein and Enrico Fermi fled from the Nazis and Italy are now living in the United States. They both agreed to inform the president of the dangers of atomic production, and Roosevelt agreed to proceed slowly to make an atom bomb. Late 1941, America received the code name the “Manhattan Project” for the designing of the atom bomb. The atom bomb cost $5 Billion to make during the WWII era.

In order to understand the need for the atomic bomb, it is important to note why the U.S. felt the pressure to have such a dangerous weapon. On December 7, 1941 Hitler declares war on the United States, and Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. Creating a war that was now being fought in the Pacific, Atlantic, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia. In an attempt to defend themselves the United States sent a message by sending their first atomic bomb on August 6, 1945 to Hiroshima and three days later in Nagasaki destroying their industrial cities. The devastation created by this bomb was a new threat that no one had seen before.
Ever since the beginning of human civilization, man has struggled to gain power. He has taken steps that have led to devastation and misery. Yet, man continues to repeat his mistakes and does not learn from his experiences or the experiences of others for that matter. In the year 1945, atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki by United States of America, an order approved by the then president Harry S. Truman, which burnt to the death of millions of people. Shortly, people all around the world started questioning the new rules of carrying out 4th generation warfare.
I think that the Atomic bomb shouldn’t have been invented but I think dropping the Atomic Bomb was necessary to help and show the danger of it. If the atomic bomb was never dropped anything could have happened Russia could have dealt with it, but if that happened Japan would still be working on military weapons, and try to take of the Pacific again or tag team on America. Since America dropped the Atomic bomb the world learned the power and danger of it, and seeing the survivors and the environment showed that the U.S had no idea on what power they were up against. However, in its wake, 200,000 deaths were caused by the impact at Hiroshima, with many more to follow via its lingering effects. Amid the devastation of WW2, the atomic bomb was seen as one of the few decisions left to end the destruction, despite this, the ethics of it are even now still under fire.
