To What Extent Do You Have To Add Another Hour And Half To The School Day

The school board plans to add another hour and a half to the school day, and I strongly disagree with this. We are already at school for an abundance of the day, so adding another hour and a half will bring stress to the students and teachers. As a result of adding more time to the school day, students will be at school for longer and will not have as much to do after school activities. For now the school day is about perfect, we do not have too much time, but we have enough time to learn everything that we need to learn. If the school adds more time to the day, school will feel as long as a fifty-mile race.

As a result of the school adding another hour and half to the school day, students and teachers will begin to get stressed. When students get stressed they will not try as hard on work and their grade will start to decline. Nobody wants their grade to deteriorate, but if they get stressed their grades will make a downturn. If the teachers get stressed, they will not be able to teach as well, because more than eight hours a day can be exhausting and stressful. If students and teachers get stressed, than school would be no fun.
