First, he has accomplished many achievements, his biggest achievement being the Starry Night painting. Second, he has impacted the world of art in many different ways, inspiring multiple generations. Third, the life that he led inspired authors and filmmakers to make creations based off of his tragic life.
Vincent Van Gogh was a Dutch painter who is one of the most influential figures on Western art. Throughout his life he was combating depression, anxiety and symptoms of bipolar disorder. These disorders claim his life in 1890 at the age of 37. Van Gogh is worthy to be remembered because he contributed a lot to the history of art. Van Gogh is worthy of been remembered because he gave the world a wealth of masterpieces including the Starry Night.
He very much enjoyed art all of his life. He was also influenced by Vincent van Gogh. He was on the later train of Dadaism. He started dada in 1919. That is okay because if you see his pieces you would thank him for being later on it than not all.

In 27 July of 1890 he shoots himself and died on 29 July 1890. He was a Dutch artist and he like yellow color. He created a work more than 2000 pieces.
He later developed his skill with stencils, which he became popular with in the art world. His artwork is often satirical and involves politics and art.
He went to work at his uncle's art dealership. At this time he was fluent in French, German, English and Dutch. He believed his true calling was to preach the gospel. He decided sometime between 1860 and 1880 to be an artist. In 1873, van Gogh transferred to Groupil Gallery.

He ripped off the bottom half of his own left ear while arguing with one of his close friends and supposedly ran after him with a blade. With the ear he cut off, he delivered it to a woman named rachel. He delivered it with a letter quoting, “Guard this object carefully” (“Vincent Van Gogh”). In 1889, he requested to spend a short period of time locked up in an asylum, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. He did this so he could be taken care of.
In 1879-80, Van Gogh was doing missionary work when he impulsively gave away all his goods, leading the church authorities to dismiss him while Van Gogh was left feeing miserable (Britannica 2). Van Gogh’s life came to a tragic end when, “In despair of ever being able to overcome his loneliness or be cured, Van Gogh shot himself.” (Britannica 6) These details show that, as seen in his emotional art, Van Gogh was never truly happy, and although he could acknowledge his problems, he could never actually overcome them.
