While undoubtedly a shrewd negotiator back in the day, Lanier, in hindsight, wishes that he had made other issues such as a pension plan more of a priority. 2. In its early years, Vivature Sports committed what some would deem a misstep by marketing their product to athletic trainers. Soon enough Vivature realized that they should actually be marketing their products to college athletic directors. 3. Notre Dame’s athletic department intends to consolidate three of its databases. The three databases respectively contain information on fans who purchased Notre Dame tickets, fans who purchase Notre Dame merchandise, and fans who visit the athletic department’s website. Circle Media’s software and fan profiles are quite useful for athletic departments because they offer the departments an opportunity to segment their communications with fans. 4. In light of the New York Yankee’s recent policy change regarding print-at-home-tickets, the ticket brokerage company StubHub has implemented new measures such as expanding employment at their Last Minute Services locations and the creation of a messaging service. The Yankees new policy of now allowing print-out-at-home tickets, has substantial impact on StubHub’s business because so many of the tickets bought using the site eventually take the form of a print-out ticket as a manner of convenience.
