In life, there are many different people who have very different backgrounds and upbringings. Which can lead to a wide variety of answers to questions, much like the ones that were used here. Two participants were interviewed to find out some of their past and see how that affects them today when they think of diversity. While some differences between Makenna Trumbles' and Kris Bradleys' answers are noticeable, the similarities are pronounced. Trumbles' and Bradleys' answers were the same when it came to several questions.
It is an opportunity to create an environment where all individuals can contribute their unique perspectives and experiences to the collective knowledge. By embracing diversity, we are able to push past our preconceived notions and challenge the status quo. We can create a culture of understanding and respect for all individuals, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or other differences. Inclusivity allows us to see beyond our own experiences and gain new insights from those who are different from us. This helps us become better problem solvers, innovators and collaborators in whatever field we choose to pursue.
Additionally, diversity is important because diversity comes with diverse perspective, which will allow creative ways to maintain the unity within a community. In order for that to happen, we must teach people that the term “color blind” must be eliminated, because it creates an illusion that we are all one and the same, when in reality, we are very much different. Diversity is showing variety, or being different. It is clear that this could easily lead to the downfall of the United States we know today. When two people have a disagreement, in a way, it’s diversity. But if there is too much diversity, people could develop completely different ideas, which could lead to arguments, and then to separations.
Diversity is the concept of acceptance and respect upon every individual in relations to sexual category, ethnic and sexual coordination, and stage of development, bodily abilities and political beliefs. Diversity in relation to people basically means we are all different. This could include our age, gender, where we live, our religious beliefs to how we dress. All these factors make us all individual and unique. Equality means we are all entitled to be treated fairly. We should all be given the same rights.
In the past sixty-five years of any meaningful national fortune, the Americans(us) have went through a huge transformation in dealing with power. Religion took a big tole on us & others only justifying "in the sight of God. " This structure is predominantly influenced not by wealth but education and opportunities. These elites or government class by sitting astride some social order. Unlike in the half-century they had control of education, media, and politics.
Immigrants bringing diversity and culture to the U.S: Immigrants come to the U.S for hope of a better future for themselves and their family. Not to mention that, they help the U.S to be a stronger and diverse country. Immigrants bring so much to the U.S. For example: their culture, experience, traditions, foods, holidays etc. In the mexican culture; they carry their language, religion, and values.
Diversity may mean different things to different people. To me, diversity is exactly that, being different and unique. Diversity makes the world a beautiful place to be, and full of interesting and different people. The beauty of human civilization lies in its diverse groups and cultures.
The word diversity is a word that can stir up many emotions in individuals. To be different and unique makes life more interesting, so I have always enjoyed being around people who were just that, different from me. Learning about different languages, places, cultures, and beliefs, keeps humans connected to each other as people in a society. Diversity can be defined as people coming together from different backgrounds whether it has to do with race , social class, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability and others to form a club, division, group, organization or community. A diverse establishment is one that values the contrast in people. It pinpoints individuals with different backgrounds and experiences and recognizes that they bring a whole new approach not only to the world, but to education. Diversity is a good thing because it gives people the chance to experience different things outside of what they are acquainted with. Diversity is much more than the characteristics of race and/or gender, diversity is what makes us distinctive from others.
