I am writing to apply for the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Teacher Education at Bradley University. I hold a doctor of philosophy in Foreign, Second, and Multilingual Language Education (within the TESOL program) with an interdisciplinary specialization in Educational Technology. My experience working at OSU’s CSTW has shown me that international undergraduates also experience numerous language and academic challenges, such as misinterpreting required readings and writing prompts and lacking knowledge of Western academic writing conventions. I, therefore, look forward to conducting research and collaborating with the faculty and staff in different academic departments, the Writing Center, and other offices serving international students at Bradley University.
