Code of Ethics Implementation Most organizations from their creation will develop policies which are expected to come together for the enhancement of growth. An organization plans for success by forecasting the present and future profits, as well as their reputation within the business world. The policies are put into action, by the organization in order to run effectively by the leaders, along with the individuals. Most organizational polices include a code of ethics which is intended as a foundational platform for moral direction. Governments have created laws to protect individuals with fairness and safety measures. The code of ethics is a guide for all to abide by. A code of ethics holds within it behavioral values comprised of positive support, respect, integrity, compassion, encouragement, open communication and safety (Chekwa et al., 2014). For an organization to be successful, there are a great deal of influences that are required to come together as a connected unit. If there are a number of fragmentations, such as unethical decision making within an organization, than a ripple effect can create a downfall that could become irreparable for the organization as well as all who are involved. There is a functional purpose for the code of ethics that includes a human factor and provides a moral core for an organization. The offering of a code of ethics is a design statement which should be implemented on a daily basis by leaders and individuals. As daily practice will sometimes involve conflict, the code of ethics is a must follow for an organization to withstand sustainability.
