The opportunity to study abroad is a priceless asset for any academic career, it is the chance for an undergraduate to experience new cultures and exchange knowledge with people from all over the world. The Science without Borders (SwB) gave me this opportunity. I will embrace it, and do whatever I can to make the most of it. Studying at Trinity College Dublin (TCD), the best university in Ireland, and one of the best in the world, is a great way to achieve my goal.
Known by its rich culture, beautiful places and friendly locals, Ireland has the perfect environment for an academic exchange experience. Studying for a year in this country is an immeasurable opportunity for me to expand my knowledge and upgrade my academic and professional career.
In Brazil, I study computer engineering at University of São Paulo (USP), also a great and challenging university. I chose this career at the moment I got my first computer from my parents. Since that day I knew this technology would change the world, and I want to be part of this revolution. As it is a worldwide institution, with centuries of tradition and innovation, TCD has the infrastructure to guide me through my studies and encourage my researches. I have always wanted to build my own company, but in Brazil there are many barriers that prevent me from doing this, but at Trinity I can develop my entrepreneurial spirit and be recognized for my innovative potential. With the advice of the Office of Corporate Partnership and Knowledge Transfer, I will be able to combine theory and practice and even, if possible, attend to the Incubator programmes to create an innovative company with TCD's
