my head smells like The subjects I have chosen have been useful in many ways and I have found them to be of benefit now I am applying for university courses. ICT skills are advantageous in many occupations and I also really enjoy learning new computing skills as I am keenly interested in technology. Ict focuses on hardware and the way computer’s process data, and Computer science focuses and theory and programming. It also focuses on the way in which digital information is communicated. Where did I get my inspiration from? The inspiration came from going to my uncles repairing shop. I regularly visited his shop and I became fascinated by the role of Computer science. This has given me the inspiration to go further into a career in Computing. Learning about control systems has increased my awareness of many of the operating systems we use to manage our everyday lives. I developed practical skills such as, programming, database security and networks. Plus, ICT is productive as it helped me build project management and numeracy skills, this has also encourage me to think logically in order to solve problems. When it comes to potential careers, I’ve got a bucket load to choose from.
