Desire to Learn Learning and taking learning opportunities is my forte. At the end of this school year, my sophomore year, I should have 37 credits including a majority of advanced classes. This summer is no exception to my learning binge; I plan to constantly expand my hoard of knowledge. Like a Challenge If I am not actively being challenged, then I am disinterested. Demanding situations are gratifying because the satisfaction of overcoming the challenge outweighs the challenge itself. An arduous class is preferential to me over a facile class for this reason. Academic effort Making all A’s has become a standard I set for myself, because I am indubitably capable. Any concept I may be struggling with, I take time at home to better understand. At times, setbacks can overwhelm me; however, I am usually able to relax myself and then fix the problem with ease. Lead by example/ leadership Being the leader of group activities instills a sense of relief about me because I can trust myself to be responsible. Assuming the role of leader is not a desideratum of mine, especially if it is going to cause conflict. However, I typically find myself to be a more preferable leader than others because I set the example by working earnestly and delegating more work to myself rather than another person. Positive interaction with teachers Because I am an only child, a majority of my interaction growing up has been with adults. Respecting my teachers is a must, I do not talk back to teachers, break their rules, or disrespect them, in fact quite the opposite.
