On November 8th, 2016, the 2016 presidential election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will decide the future of the United States of America. Both of these candidates have several positive and negative aspects of their personality and campaign. Three traits of a good leader include trustworthy, integrity, and concern for the people. Being trustworthy defines as being a reliable, principled, and honest leader. A trustworthy leader is one that is dedicated to make America a better nation. Trump is not willing to release his tax returns because he claims that he is being audited (Eichenwald 2016). This action shows that he is hiding something about his tax returns and he does not want the public to know. Trump chooses to make an illegitimate claim in order to prevent him from revealing the truth about his tax returns. Another incident which demonstrates that he does not have integrity is when he lied about apologizing to the ones he has hurt. He made it clear that he is not apologizing and he has also told some of the most easily fact checked lies in history (Easley 2016). The fact that Trump does not apologize when he is proven wrong shows that he does not have good virtues or sincerity.
