I see Jellyvision does not have a position related to improvement of the company and employees, but fret not for I shall create a job title for it! Let’s call it something fancy like the internal benefits strategist. You may be asking yourself what a person with a title like that does. What they do is look at the internal behavior of the company, and strategizes plans for improving the company while looking out for employees to make sure they don’t become one sentient mass, but stay as unique individuals making something big work flawlessly. One spectacular reason why I know I would be perfect for this role is that I have plenty of experience in all phases of product development in ergonomic products. What does all that have to do with this position?! Product development relates to the needs of people and presenting solutions. I always look at the situation and try to find the best benefits for the teams I’m working with, and the consumers who will be using the products. A good working environment for product development is one that allows for the flow of creativity such as one needed for engineers to think of brilliant ideas. It is vital that as a company grows larger individuality is not lost in the sea of employees and that people continue to have passionate about their job. To combat this with my own team I allotted time for constructive games such as Boss Monster (a very card good game). It has created more unity within the team, creativity has sprung as we modify the games as we go, and it gets people excited to come to work to defeat their arch rival.
