Sound knowledge and understanding of current Learning and Wellbeing policy and programs.
Has an educator in the 21st century, I take immense pride in gaining a comprehensive understanding of the current Learning and Wellbeing policy as they affect the improvement of students’ academic results and their overall wellbeing.

Through my educational career I have been immersed with a number of policies and documents, that are implemented to create a positive and supporting environment. I have been exposed to the Learning and Wellbeing Policy and Programs through subjects in my bachelor’s degree, professional development training and professional verbal conversation.

One document that has influenced my teaching pedagogy is the Wellbeing Framework for Schools. Similarly, to the framework, my teaching pedagogy is based on connecting, succeeding, thriving and enabling. I have integrated these values to strengthen the cognitive, physical, social, emotional development of all my students. One demonstrated example of this can be seen in my student-centered teaching. I diagnostically, found out what students need to learn emotionally and socially as a couple of students had outbreaks in the classrooms. I then initiated lessons that revolved around and integrated friendship to teach them the specific values needed.
