Dear Jury Members:David Eldridge should have been found guilty because there were many signs and evidence pointing that he was there the night of the murder and that he had a motive for killing Mr Arms. The strongest piece of evidence that shows that he was the murderer first he asked Mr Arms for a rise and he was denied and he was so mad that he planned to kill Mr Arms and secondly he and Mr Arms were the only ones that knew the code to the safe and there was no sign of forced entry which means he was had the key to the building and the combination to the safe.the strongest piece of evidence in the case was that he had a motive to kill him which makes him a suspect.when david eldridge went to his boss for a raise and he got denied he was super …show more content…

secondly he and Mr arms had a motive to kill Mr arms were the only ones who had a combination to kill him. the safe and no one else knew the safe combination.and when the cops showed up the safe was open and the burger recipe was not in the safe but it was not stolen it was a few feet away from the safe and not completely gone.This proves my claim because since he was the only other person that knew the recipe besides mr arms there was no other person that could have gotten into the safe and there was no evidence of someone breaking in to the safe and he was the only one that wanted the recipe and how he was able to get the recipe. to make those burgers, too.
